*grins*

I just got home from work and was all set to post an entry about how as soon as murder becomes legal I need to be the first granted the priviledge, but then I checked my email and found a message from LJ saying someone had sent me a virtual gift and I got all happy.

I love my boyfriend lots and lots and lots :-D :-D :-D

...and now I'm not nearly in a mood to murder.

:-D

I'd like to buy some for someone I don't like and write a nasty message on it that's stuck in their userinfo for 2 weeks. Hmmmm.....

And you can send it anonymously...lol

See...but I see almost anything as a waste of money, and at least this one lasts in my userinfo for two weeks, and is more preferable to me than three dollars on a card to me. Dan and I both think Valentine's Day is silly and stupid and another annoying Hallmark holiday, really. Why waste $30 on a dozen red roses that will die soon? Why bother with boxes of chocolates when I don't even have much of a sweet tooth and they'll probably sit mostly forgotten with still half a box in another month? Why use one capitalized day of the year to tell someone how you feel about them?

I prefer some random thing like this, or an email out of nowhere, or a single red or white rose or pretty other flower on some completely other random day. That virtual one made me feel especially happy because I had barely seen him in a few days (he started his new job this weekend and our hours were exactly opposite) and I had had such a bad night at work.
