May. 31st, 2005 01:30 amI've come across the most curious updated version of Pride and Prejudice. A little silly, but *shrugs* Elizabeth and Darcy! I am such a dork.
The trip home was pretty uneventful, though there were lots of cops out for the holiday. There's a channel continuously playing a half-hour advertisment for the new BMW. *whimpers* There's a button you can click if you want to test drive one, and a rep will call in a few days. If I were to be here longer I think I'd have to cave. Speaking of pretty new cars, a couple passed the pub stopped at a light yesterday afternoon in a really pretty red Pontiac convertible. We were all ogling it and wondering what it was. Someone suggested, "We could always go out and ask them what it is..." so I did. The couple said it was the new Solstice. I've noticed that I'm becoming a lot braver as I get older.
Apparently I need to win a lottery before my darling Buick dies. Or win a raffle involving a gorgeous classic and/or muscle car. I am truly becoming my father's daughter.
I am also becoming very sleepy, so I'm going to bed now.
Do I need to worry about you, Bob?
Only if you want to.
