*passes out from heat*
Jun. 10th, 2005 03:23 pmWell, got out of work a bit early today again, which is kinda yay and kinda boo. I actually enjoy being at work (minus the exception times), and it's far cooler there than it is in my apartment.
I was really kinda pissed to see that Kathy decided to just not schedule me next week. I had to have Saturday off for the new restaurant's orientation, but I could easily have worked the rest of the weekend and told her I could work the weekend of the 24th, too, if they wanted/needed me to. On the plus side: one more weekend to get my apartment completely in order; on the down side, one weekend less worth of making money. It's not like I'm desperate for money, it just would have been nice to have a bit more safety going into the next job.
In better news, Curt from Nelson Music came over and gave me my copy of the commercial I helped with. He was a little disappointed with it, but it's not bad, actually, for a local-style commercial. My audio is definitely a bit louder than everyone else's, but aside from that it's not bad at all.
And, for Alley's information, Michigan DOES have beaches. And some really nice ones, too. http://www.goswm.com/go_htm/southwest_michigan_parks/go_htm/parks/parks_pages/park44_sj17.htm
