(no subject)

mmm...I adore Lost in Translation so much. Top in my "Favorite movies" list, for certain. An old friend saw it before I did and told me I wouldn't like it. He was terribly mistaken.

We rented MirrorMask last night. Neither of us cared for it. Around the giants part I said, "Eh...it's just a typical fantasy coming of age story. It's like Alice Through the Looking Glass meets Return to Oz meets Labyrinth or something...only not as original or as good as any of those." Today I was watching a Cirque show on Bravo at the laundromat and decided that it's actually Alice Through the Looking Glass meets Return to Oz meets Cirque du Soleil.

Anyway...now I shall finish watching LiT while not playing on the computer.
