Just a note...

I probably won't be around online much for a bit. There's something up with the cord of my laptop, and I need to contact HP about getting a new one (as in if I try to continue to use it it will probably catch on fire and destroy my laptop), so I'm just checking email and LJ through Dan's laptop and I really don't like his (it works nicely and all, it's just very different from mine) so I'd rather not spend too much time on it.

I talked to my mom today. She found another kitten. Dan and I are contemplating taking it in because we both love cats. I'm terribly allergic and would be living on allergy medicine until I got used to it (which would take about six or so months, probably), but it'd be really nice to have a pet like that around the apartment. Also, my uncle is still going to need a bone marrow transplant eventually, apparently :-\ I told my mom to let me know if none of the siblings/other immediate family are matches. I'm terrified of the idea, but...well...you know. My uncle's far more important than my phobias. They're moving into Granny and Putt's house on Saturday, and my mom is going to be taking Rheanna for a couple days a week or so to give her a more interesting summer and keep her occupied and give my uncle and them some quiet time with all of this. I'm probably going home next weekend, as I'll have at least Wednesday and Thursday off, and possibly Friday as well. It'd be nice to see my family with all this going on.

Anyway...we put the air conditioner in for the summer! The apartment already feels even more than just bearable.
