Not much to say. For those of you who didn't listen to my last voice post, some idiot rammed into the front end of my car last week. I was in the bank parking lot, the guy in front of me stopped, I stopped, and he threw into reverse to back into a parking space. Instead of hitting the parking space, of course, he hit my front end and severely injured my poor front bumper. The kicker was what he said, "Oh, I didn't even look and see you!" Obviously.
Anyway...I have a new laptop, so I can get public internet access. Unfortunately, I'm in the center of suburbia, and no 24 hour coffeeshops exist...nor any 24 hour restaurants with WiFi. The best I've found is a coffeeshop 20 minutes from me, in Roseville, that's open until 1. That doesn't help me on days I close. I probably won't be writing in here terribly much more than I have been, though I'll try, but it will be mostly work related--you've been warned. I don't know anybody out here, I don't have any decent amount of time to meet people out here, and I expect to be gone within the next handful of months anyway, so my social life is completely non-existent. Will and Melissa visited a weekish ago, though, and that was wonderful. Dan recently visited, too--that was so great. It's hard living without him here after living with him for over two years. Besides, in regards to journalling, I'm attempting to do more personal journalling. It hasn't been working out so well so far, but work tends to overwhelm, and I'm terrible at keeping paper journals, and lack of internet hasn't allowed me to find a nice site where I can find anonymity.
Okay...I really need sustenance before I head into work, so I should go. Oh! And
kewlness12 (formerly kewlness12) will be in town next week for a Scrabble tournament. We've been chatting online for nearly a decade now and I finally get to meet him!
