mmmmhmmmm. I told one of the people we were with (after they were talking about how their boss/owner has never been there before and probably never would try it) how I feel bad for people who don't understand that life occasionally requires indulgences in something truly wonderful. My life just wouldn't be as full if once in a great while I didn't let myself enjoy things like $8 martinis and amazing and unique dishes. It's not all-the-time food, but sometimes you just have to let yourself indulge.
My vices are super-premium liquor and amazing food. I don't have either often, but it's heaven when I do. A cook I once worked with actually argued against the fact that great food can be just as amazing and satisfying and bliss-inducing as great sex. I told him he must never have had truly amazing food. I will stand by the opinion that it's absolutely true until the day I die.
