Wow to random people finding you on teh interwebs. A kid I did a lot of theatre with in middle/high school just friended and messaged me on MySpace (Ryan for those of you on my flist that know him...I noticed a couple of you are already in contact with him on there...I told him he needs to join the LJ cult). It's always really cool seeing how people you once knew (and actually liked...I'd never friend anybody back that I never liked) are doing. I'm only slightly jealous of him and those of you in/soon to be in NYC ;-) I'm too happy where I am at the moment to be too jealous. If I had really wanted to I could be out there now. I was considering it at one point a year or so ago, but I love Dan and my current life too much to leave it right now. I'm content to wait until he graduates and we move further out East together (which we've slightly discussed). Besides...it really feels like I'm where I'm supposed to be right now.

My mind has blacked a huge portion of my middle/high school years in Michigan from memory, so it's always especially funny to me when somebody comes up to me and recognizes me from back then, but I just can't remember them. I always found myself particularly forgettable back then, too, so it also amazes me when stuck-up idiots I couldn't stand recognize me and remember who I am.
