littlelotteI=idiot last night. I told Cassie I'd pick up her shift tonight because she had class and was scheduled against availability. I have SO. MUCH. to do around here over the next three days that I should NOT be working. I somehow figured it would be a good idea, given that I made all of $12 in the three hours I was there last night, but I just started making a mental list of things to do today (not even including work) and wanted to bang my head against the wall for being way too nice. I have to stop up there this morning to run some paperwork by Jes anyway, so I'm going to see if anybody else actually wanted a shift tonight. Who knows...if not, Jes may tell me simply to not come in...that way a few people might at least make a little bit more money than they would have with me there.
I'm pretty certain I'm going to start training to admin when I get back from OKC. There's actually more to the story than that, but that's the "official" part of it. The rest of it Jes told me "off the record," so I'm not going to say anything else about it right now.
Okay...now I need to be going so that I can get some errands run before my doctor's appointment today. I wonder if a "female" appointment is an appropriate place to bring up the fact that I can't lay on my right side because of severe chest-area pain (that we're pretty sure is due to me hacking up my lungs over the past week). My mom thinks I might have a touch of bronchitis, and that's what I've been thinking for a few days now.
