Theatre meme...I'm leaving a lot blank because I decided no more theatre until I leave Kalamazoo, so it's been a while for some of these, and some I flat out don't remember...

LAST SHOW YOU ADDED TO YOUR RESUME: Metamorphoses, as Dramaturg

LAST SHOW YOU AUDITIONED FOR:

DID YOU GET INTO IT?

LAST SONG YOU USED AT AN AUDITION:

FAVORITE THEATRE (VENUE):

FAVORITE PLAY: That I've done, or in general? That I've been in, Glass Menagerie, that I worked on, Metamorphoses, in general, probably 4.48 Psychosis.

FAVORITE MUSICAL: Duh. Take a look at my username. I don't think it's the best musical, but I still adore it.

FAVORITE ROLE AND FROM WHAT SHOW: That I've played? Laura from Glass Menagerie. I have a few on the "Must play one day" list, though.

NAME A THEATRE SUPERSTITION: Ghost light.

LAST PART YOU PLAYED IN A SHOW: Director...lol

YOUR GOAL IN SHOW BUSINESS: Either make a living acting or to own my own theatre company.

FAVORITE DIRECTOR Lindsay. <--- Warm fuzzies!!! Umm...Evie Zilinski.

WHAT WAS YOUR VERY FIRST SHOW: I couldn't even tell you. It was either one of our random church plays, or something at school. Either way, it was over 15 years ago.

HAVE YOU EVER HAD A DANCE SOLO? Yes.

HAVE YOU EVER HAD A SINGING SOLO? Yes.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN THE LAST PERSON TO TAKE A BOW? Yes.

NAME A SHOW YOU'VE DONE MORE THAN TWO TIMES: None, but I've done Joseph...Dreamcoat twice.

HAVE YOU BEEN TO NEW YORK? No :-(

HAVE YOU BEEN TO LA? No.

WHAT'S THE SCARIEST PART OF AN AUDITION? Waiting to perform.

WHAT'S THE BEST PART OF AN AUDITION: Nailing a piece.

NAME A SHOW YOU WOULD NEVER DO AGAIN: I once said Glass Menagerie because of how draining on me it was, but I would. I'm at a different place in my life now...I think I could handle it this time.

NAME A SHOW YOU COULD DO FOR YEARS: I haven't done one of those yet.

NAME A SHOW YOU WOULD LOVE TO DO BUT HAVE NEVER BEEN IN: 4.48 Psychosis or a lot of Greek plays. I'm looking more towards director/coordinator of any Greek play, though, given what I want my Masters thesis project to be.

NAME A PERSON YOU'D LIKE TO WORK WITH AGAIN: There are a few...in what capacity? There are some actors I'd love to act with again, a couple directors I'd love to work with again...

WHAT ARE YOU AUDITIONING FOR NEXT? No clue.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PERFORMING? According to my mom, since I was born. Actually performing...nearly 20 years.

DO YOU CARRY YOUR HEADSHOTS AROUND WITH YOU? I haven't gotten around to getting any of those done...lol

DO YOU KEEP IN TOUCH WITH PAST CAST MEMBERS? Some.

ON A SCALE OF 1-10, HOW IMPORTANT IS GETTING PAID? Depends on the project.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE PERFORMANCE? I've had a lot of memorable performances. One that sticks out comes from what Will just said, though. I was in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, and our final matinee performance was the afternoon we learned that Charles Schultz had died.

WHAT'S SOMETHING EMBARRASSING OR UNEXPECTED THAT HAPPENED TO YOU WHILE ON STAGE? Not much, actually...there was the time in Miracle Worker that we accidentally tipped the bench me and Aunt Ev were sitting on during the final dinner scene and we fell backwards off the riser thing.

WHO IS THE MOST DIFFICULT PERSON (ON STAGE OR OFF) THAT YOU HAVE EVER WORKED WITH? There are a few people who consider themselves directors that should never be allowed to act. I had one of them in the last show I directed, and I wanted to throttle him.

EVER BEEN NAKED ON STAGE? Nope.

WHO OR WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST INSPIRATION OR INFLUENCE? I don't know, actually...

IF YOU COULD BE A RICH FAMOUS PORN STAR OR A STRUGGLING THEATRE ACTOR WHICH WOULD YOU CHOOSE? Going with the theatre.

BEST PROFESSIONAL SHOW(S) YOU'VE SEEN? ummm...it's been a while.

BEST COLLEGE SHOW(S) YOU'VE SEEN: God's Country, Laramie Project, Into the Woods...

BEST COMMUNITY SHOW(S) YOU'VE SEEN: It's been a while.

BEST HIGH SCHOOL SHOW(S) YOU'VE SEEN: *shrugs*

ONSTAGE, HAVE YOU EVER...
...BEEN KILLED? No.
...BEEN DRUNK/STONED? Drunk, yes.
...PLAYED SOMEONE HALF YOUR AGE? No.
...PLAYED SOMEONE TWICE YOUR AGE? Oh gods yes.
...CRIED? Yes.
...FIRED A GUN? Yes! I was terrified, too!
...DRIVEN A CAR? No.
...BEEN DRENCHED? No.
...BEEN IN A DREAM SEQUENCE? I don't think so.
...BEEN KISSED? Yes.

IF YOU WERE ON BROADWAY RIGHT NOW, WHAT SHOW WOULD YOU WANT TO BE IN AND WHAT ROLE WOULD YOU PLAY? I'd have to see what was playing on B'way right now. If I got to choose...I'd love to be in Proof, I'd love to be in Metamorphoses, I'd love to direct/be in anything Sarah Kane (though not Blasted...not a big Blasted fan), and there are a few others, too, but that's enough.

Leave Kalamazoo? When, why, and where to?

Also, 4.48! Woo!

Not until Dan graduates, probably. Until then I'm focusing on paying back student loans and the like. We're thinking out east somewhere for various reasons, but not sure exactly where yet.

I guess you'd be Strophe in Phaedra's Love and C in Crave, but in Cleansed would you want to play Grace or Woman?
