Already a better week!

My week from hell started last Sunday, and so I was hoping this Sunday would mark the start of a better week...and I think it did, though it also signals the start of an extremely busy week.
I received my packet for Lansing's opening last night (hotel with a pool and spa and free wireless! YAY!!!), and discussed training for admin with Jes this afternoon. Since she leaves for Lansing in only a couple of days, and I'll be in Lansing for a week after her (taking us completely through the end of the month), and because it sounds like Staci's transfer is going to happen sooner than expected (I'm pretty sure I heard her make the comment that "I will be transferring to the Fort Meyer's one," and it seemed to imply soonish), I need to start training and transitioning ASAP. As Jes said, "It's going to be a process." I will be training tomorrow morning with Jes at 9am at CiP, working at Bennigan's at 11:45, and serving at CiP at 4pm.
I'm so excited about training for this! It's going to be a lot of work and a lot of responsibility (especially knowing that I will directly be taking over Jes's position), but a great new experience for me that I've not yet done.
In other completely random info, Dan and I saw Capote tonight. It was a very well done movie, plus we ran into Julie and her mom there. While watching the scenes of him at the parties I couldn't help but laugh to myself at how accurate Jim's descriptions of him were (Jim is my cousin's other grandfather, and he used to have a lot of friends in the NYC literary/party scene and met a lot of those people. He tells the most interesting stories about parties he's attended and people he's known).
