You're not supposed to walk home with $78 on $719 in sales. I'm so furious right now. It was a TERRIBLE night. And that includes the $20 tip on a $28 bill from the Carrabba's manager at one of my tables.

Yeah...I can totally pay my bills from Friday night closing shifts like this >-P

It wouldn't matter so much, except now I'm working in the office. I don't really see the money I make in the office because of the money I make on the floor. When I'm not making, at the very absolute LEAST, $200 a week on the floor, I can end up pretty screwed when it comes to paying bills. And it's not easy making that on three floor shifts. *sigh*

I ate at CiP tonite, requested your section, didn't get it, and had HORRIBLE service all the way around... I felt bad for tipping the girl what we did, but, as a trainer, maybe, well, she should see if we want drinks, or if our food came out, not just say, one check okay, not wait for a response, and drop it off... ugh!

I would have hooked you up.

Oh my...I can think of a few trainers who were on last night aside from me...do you remember who you had?

*headdesk* There are a couple people who really really REALLY need their trainer status taken away from them, but our MP is often too nice for his own good. I can't complain too horribly, though, I guess. I'm not the only one who was screwed up down and sideways last night tip-wise. It was a terrible night for all of our best servers last night, for some reason.

Aha...I also just remembered...

We have a few girls that used to be hostesses, were made host trainers and then were promoted to servers (and a couple of them were on the floor last night). Each and every one of them still wear their trainer pins on their server uniforms even though they aren't server trainers. That's actually a detail that's bothered me for quite some time.

We had Julia, or as my friend called her, "the girl who doesn't blink" It was bad, yo, bad. Hopefully you'll make better cash tonite--sometimes, it's like an aura on the restaurant, that all the worst tippers come out on the same nite to the same place, to make everyone mad.

Wow...that is bad then. She's definitely a server trainer (was one of the original ones, actually, after we opened...she did the Lansing opening with Liz, too) and is going through Key Employee training right now. I'm sorry I didn't get you guys. You know I definitely would have treated you well :-)

I actually have time to elaborate on my thoughts on that before work now, so I will...

A handful of the kids in kzoo_kids think I'm a Nazi when it comes to shit I've deleted. I made a post explaining how I don't want OMGSOHUGEBIGGERTHANMYCOMPUTERSCREEN advertisement images in the community unless they're behind a cut, and that they'd be deleted if they were made. I don't mind small images and I don't mind text ads. I'm exceptionally easy to get a hold of and always explain my reasoning...and I've never banned anybody disagreeing with me and I've never deleted any of the posts questioning my actions. This chick, on the other hand, is seriously a control freak. She deletes any posts questioning her actions (and plenty of posts have been deleted that weren't against the posted rules) and never explains her reasoning to anybody who asks for one. Now it even seems like she's banning people who question her actions. It just boggles my mind. Not to mention, she's impossible to get a hold of.

It's really not that I mind rules, it's just that I think when it comes to deleting people's posts for their subjective merits, that's something the entire community should have a say in first. When she started deleting my posts about that, I couldn't believe it. How fascist can you be, I mean really? She banned me both from the community and her LJ -- I'd never posted in her LJ but she thought ahead since that was the only place I could possibly get a hold of her.

traceylee is a member of feminist, and she's flamed me more than once over there. Pretty much called me a traitor to all women and all this. I guess this is her petty way of snubbing me since she's upset I haven't been banned from feminist yet. -_- Me and one other person were thinking about creating an alternative community, but we don't know if it'd really take off since we probably won't even be able to advertise for it. Hrm.

I'm sorry to hear that. I wonder how long the capitalist system will continue since it is obvious it is doing more damage than good and might even destroy itself.
Thank the Gods that my parents still allow me to live at home and didn't boot me when I graduated. Otherwise I would have problems paying bills.
