Before I forget because it was funny...

So earlier in the evening there was this guy drinking with a bunch of other guys...I know at least two of them are regular weekend night people, and he possibly was, too. I was just about ready to cut him off when he decides to pay his tab. Earlier he'd been talking about how he buys all his friends drinks and he's a great tipper and once he had a $140 tab and he left a big tip and...well, we should all know where this is going. First of all, as soon as a person says they're a good tipper you can count on a less than 10% tip from them. His bill came to $63.40 or $63.60. He pulled out three 20s and a 5 and told me I could "keep the change." mmmhmmm. Later on, this one kid bought a tall Coors Light and paid in debit/credit. He signed the slip, I picked it up and there was no tip on it. Just his phone number, his name and "Call me." Because I can pay my rent with phone numbers, you know. It's one of those times when you're tempted to take the number down and call it and bitch them out. I bet whoever does the counting tonight/in the morning will get a kick out of it.
That was just a sample of my night. We'll just say I did about $800 in sales and walked with $110. People were IDIOTS to the nth tonight. I'm glad it was the only time I had to close. This is a reason I hate cocktailing.
