18F feels like 7F...thank goodness for my warm, fluffy, comfy pyjamas.

Now...work "homework" or start Pale Fire...I wonder which will win ;-)

Also, promotional photos from a photoshoot of Daniel Radcliffe's upcoming performance in Equus are posted at The Leaky Cauldron. I'm with those wishing him well. That's a helluva play and a helluva character. I'm exceedingly jealous of those of you in London, as I would love to see the show (not because of the actor, because I would sincerely love to see that play performed on the professional stage).

I just spoke to my sister - she lives in Portage. She said you guys have 8-12 inches now and you're looking at a possible 4 to 10 overnight. Both she and her husband are teachers, so I think she might be hoping for a snow day - they can stay home with the kids. Sometimes I long for a snow day, but frankly I don't miss the snow. :-)

*laughs* Your sister is imagining things...unless she lives waywayWAY farther out than I do (admittedly I'm near downtown and WMU's campus). We probably have less than six inches--I'd hazard a guess around four.

Well, my b/f just told me Portage got hit, so maybe she does have more than we do, but I still would guess we only have around four inches near downtown.

She also works in Mattawan so sometimes she gets a snow day but her husband (in Kalamazoo schools) doesn't get - or the boys who go to school in Portage. I think she lives for those days.

I just got e-mails from my college (even though I´m abroad this semester) saying that classes would be cancelled after 5 p.m., because of how the weather is. (Snow and lots of wind, probably.)

Equus and Radcliffe/Harry Potter? Wow. One day because we were bored, my AP English class in high school watched the movie of it. I think we were somewhat traumatized/squicked out for the rest of the day. I´ve heard that the stage play is much better.

I saw those Equus pics on MuggleNet...all I could say was...wow...I'm not a Dan Radcliffe fan, and have never found him attractive or anything, but I must admit he looked pretty good! I'm certainly wishing him well, also. I'll join you in being jealous of those in London!

Lord. I had trained myself to think of Dan as a kid for the Harry Potter movies but oh my GOD! He really is a young man. And quite an attractive one at that! I( hope things go well for him in the play as well. He's going to have such a hard time digging himself out of the Harry Potter image when the series is over...
