I have found the most beautiful Stevie recording ever on LimeWire. It's the first demo recording of "Rhiannon" right after Stevie finished writing it. It has a spoken part in the beginning where she's talking to Richard and Lindsey, and it's just a heartbreaking recording. It's really rough compared to the version we all know (and my favourite polished "Rhiannon" recording is from The Dance), but it's so raw and there's so much emotion in it that it really stops you. I also really adored the "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You" version from her Storytellers show--with the spoken part.

A Stevie icon I made a little while ago when I was playing around after Alley taught me how to properly use "Outer Glow" in PS:

And he says, "Rhiannon, don’t go..."
And he says, "Rhiannon, stay..."
And he says, "I still cry out for you--
Don’t leave me...
Don’t leave me..."

(from The Dance DVD/CD)

I can't find the quote from the Storytellers song :-\

Beautiful Child
Beautiful Child
Stevie Nicks

Beautiful Child
You are a beautiful child
And I am a fool once more

You fell in love when I was only ten
The years disappeared
Much has gone by since then
I bite my lip, can you send me away
You touch
I have no choice
I have to stay
I had to stay

Sleepless child
There is so little time
Your eyes say yes
But you don't say yes
I wish that you were mine

You say it will be harder in the
morning
I wait for you to say, just go
Your hands, held mine so few hours
And I'm not a child anymore

I'm not a child anymore
I'm tall enough
To reach the stars
I'm old enough
To love you from afar
Too trusting. . .yes
But then women usually are

I'm not a child anymore
No, I'm not a child, oh no
I'm tall enough to reach for the stars
I will do
As I'm told
Even if I never hold you again
I never hold you again
