littlelotteDan teases me because I like Garrison Keillor and the Prairie Home Companion. One of my high school teachers would play Lake Wobegon stories in our Short Stories class, and I was hooked. I was listening to it last week on my way to Jackson, and happened to catch the website for it. I just remembered it and decided to visit, and found that not only do they have scripts there, but I can listen to streaming broadcasts! I just had to share one of the pieces that happened to play that weekend.
If you're looking for an amusement park that is exciting but that also teaches values, it's Six Flags over Scripture right here in Virginia Beach — with rides that are more than just rides, they are journeys, they are spiritual experiences. Rides like The Red Sea Crossing (WHOOSH OF SURF, ROAR OF VEHICLE) and Ezekiel's Wheel (WHIRRING, ACCEL, CRIES), the Voyage to Nineveh (CREAKING OF RIGGING, STORM, WHALE ROAR) and the River of Jordan Underwater Ride (SPLASH, UNDERWATER BREATHING), we guarantee total immersion.
