Random day...

littlelotteI sat around for most of the afternoon, really, playing around on LJ and then on Photoshop for somebody. I was talking to my mom when Lissa called me with a "moral dilemma" involving her, Dana and Harry Potter--which I was still laughing over after I got off the phone with her. My mom has a new little kitten! Their neighbors in Clio have a bunch of outdoor cats that keep having kittens. She finally managed to talk to Crystal and snag one while it was still young enough to become an indoor kitty--apparently they'd had her for one night and she was already litter trained! I'll have pictures when they come to visit this weekend. Mom said she looks like Gizmo from Gremlins, so that's what they've named her...lol
I finally got the call saying that my trial lenses were in. Yay! I went and picked those up and then stopped off at DOTS to see if they had any bright neon shirts for work for cheap (our uniforms are either green or purple long-sleeved button up shirts, and we were told we have to wear a BRIGHT shirt underneath them)--which they did! They had a lot of bright neon summer shirts on sale for $4, so I bought a neon green, a neon pink and a neon orange. There was also a girl there doing the same thing that it turns out I'm going to be working with! Small world.
And now I'm off to make something to eat which doesn't require too much effort on my part.
