Wow. 100 user icons. This is absurd! But cool. I haven't even refilled my quota after moving journals. I'll get to it, though *grins* Eventually ;-) *giggles as she can imagine Alley rolling her eyes right now*

Well, I ended up calling off on the camping trip :-( My sinuses have killed me, and my voice still isn't back--I didn't want to risk making it worse. I've been drinking a rather absurd amount of tea today, which is yummy. Luckily my body chose the most "perfect" time possible to get sick. I had four days requested off coming up, at least, and only had to "call in" sick one day. Even though it meant I missed out on camping :-(

Now that I have the extra time I suppose I should spend it getting the apartment ready for Dan to move in next weekend. I haven't done an overhaul cleaning on the place since I started working at CiP. Getting the table helped push me into gear a bit, too. A girl down the street was having a moving sale and had a decent dining room table she needed to get rid of. The chairs are rather hideous, but they roll, so they're fun and I can use one for my computer chair...lol Dan--perhaps we could persuade your stepmom into making covers for them, too? *bats eyelashes* *grins*

Since I suddenly have this extra time I also plan on perhaps mostly finishing the UCoE site (at least making it officially launchable), and going through the cookbooks for recipes I really want to try. I want to go down to the co-op soonish and see how much their veggies and stuff run and start shopping there. Everything there is organic, obviously, and I really want to start eating and cooking as organically as possible, even with the little time I have. Lots of grainy pastas and such. Wheat pasta is yummy, so that's a likely candidate for common meals. Also, lots of rice dishes and such. If any of you have good tips on correctly cooking pasta and rice, throw them my way pleaaaaaaaase.

Speaking of pastas, Dan and I finally tried out Carrabba's last night while he was here. I had the Tagliarini Picchi Pacchiu with shrimp, and it was amazing. So yummy. *dies of yumminess* And I still have leftovers :-D
