littlelotte: (LiT - Not hopeless)
I've had a wonderfully fun past couple of days. I'm a little sad and a little upset that I've had this many days off of CiP in a row, but it's made for a lovely impromptu vacation. Working at Bennigan's doesn't even really feel like I've worked by the end of the day.

Last night I went up to Grand Rapids with Liz and Julie (Liz works at CiP and got me the job at Bennigan's, and Julie was my Bennigan's trainer). We went to get Liz's car radio fixed, then to the mall (where I found a nice little trinket for Nick for Christmas and was sorely tempted to buy a gorgeous pair of knee-high boots and a couple of shirts for my upcoming trip), and then to Bonefish Grill for dinner. Bonefish Grill is one of the Outback corp concepts, but even with our 50% discount we managed to spend nearly $50 (though we all had drinks, so that contributed...we don't get discounts on alcohol). The food was pretty awesome (not as amazing as Zazio's, but still very good. I know to get my fish slightly more well done than I did last night, though, in the future...salmon is good medium, tuna probably needs to be medium well for me) and I had a lot of fun with the two of them. Tonight I went to CiP with [livejournal.com profile] madbillyblack and we did kareoke. I completely butchered some Tori Amos and Heart and Fleetwood Mac, but I had a lot of fun. I chatted a lot with Beth and asked her a million questions about doing openings. I'm very excited for this.

I'm very tired, I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning, and I have to pack and drive home tomorrow afternoon, so I should probably get to bed. Hope you all are having a lovely holiday season! Lots of love and warm, happy thoughts for all of you.
